The Adirondack Community Trust is the largest funder serving the Adirondacks. Since 1997, ACT has been helping to build healthy and vital Adirondack communities where basic human needs are met and our communities are successful and sustainable. One part of that work involves making grants – in 2009 we awarded over $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations and local students. These grants support a breadth of issues including hunger, housing, arts, cultural heritage, recreation, animalwelfare, and environmental sustainability.
