Apply for a Grant...

Kids at Sagamore

Everyday, nonprofit organizations provide essential services to communities throughout the region. Without these organizations, many citizens would go without food or shelter, our treasured landscape would be at risk, and our most vulnerable citizens would not have access to vital services such as preschool, health or dental care. Grant awards from ACT support this critical work and aim to maximize the effectiveness of the sector.

The vast majority of ACT's funds do not accept applications for support, as the grantmaking is either advised by a living donor or is predetermined by a specific fund purpose (such as an annual scholarship award or a designated annual grant to a specific nonprofit organization). There are, however, a small number of funds at ACT to which grant seekers can apply for support. These funds have unique interests, from supporting youth to focusing on health to funding the next generation of athletes. These funds use a competitive application process to make grant decisions. We are currently working to update grant applications for 2011.  If we do not have the 2011 application you need on the site, please contact the ACT office at 518-523-9904 or by e-mail at info@generousact.org.
