SPECIAL AND URGENT NEEDS FUND (SUN)

  • Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations that meet a well-documented human service community need in the Adirondack Region. We look for proposals that will allow an organization to:
  1. Take advantage of an unforeseen and time-sensitive opportunity that will enhance the organization's ability to meet its mission with excellence and efficiency
  2. Provide essential equipment, technology, or resources whose need could not have been anticipated or budgeted, and without which the work of the organization would be severely hampered
  3. Conduct emergency repairs of building mechanical systems (heating/cooling, water service, etc.) whose sudden and unexpected failure interferes with the provision of services
  • Grant Range: Up to $2,000
  • Interest Area: Community Development
  • Application Deadline: None, applications are accepted anytime
